Meet Our Staff

Mrs. Sarah Adler, Director

Mrs. Adler lives in Woodmere and is talented, organized and dynamic. This summer will be her 9th year running Camp Bnos Yam. Prior to running CBY, she directed the Girls Division of Camp Chazak in 2017 and the Girls Division of Machane Miami in 2016. Mrs. Adler is warm, caring and truly connects with each camper and counselor.

Mrs. Shulamis Bloom, Assistant Director

We are excited to welcome back Mrs. Shulamis Bloom for a third year, more famously known as “Morah Shulamis” to the CBY head staff again this coming summer. Morah Shulamis is a star BBY Morah who brings a plethora of teaching experience as well as the background of having run her own extremely successful camp in Far Rockaway for over 15 years. She has been a great asset to the Bnos Yam team and we can’t wait for the girls to gain a lot from her once again!

Esti Dreyfuss, Head Counselor

Esti Dreyfuss will be back as head staff at Bnos Yam for her fourth year after working in CBY for the previous two years. Esti has been working in various day and sleepaway camps for over 10 years in numerous capacities. She is also a star teacher in Yeshiva of Central Queens and is known for her tremendous love of every student and for making each lesson fun and exciting. We are thrilled to have Esti’s ruach, positivity and affectionate personality again this summer!
